Barnes & Noble App

Integrated Campaign; App, Vending Machine, Social Media, Web Ad, Magazine Ad

In this project, I created an app for Barnes and Noble where consumers can track their books, new releases, and more. The app also features quizzes one where users could review their books by answering a few questions and another that would help consumers find their next read. In this project, I also created an in-person interactive element to help advertise the app. For that, I decided to create a vending machine where people could visit the machine and use either their app or a credit card to purchase a book from the vending machine. For the marketing element, I created social media posts, magazine ads, and a website pop-up for the Barnes and Noble website.

Noble Books App

This is an app that would be created for Barnes & Noble that would allow readers to track the books that tey have read. This app would also feature a “quiz” that readers could fill out based on their last read and the results would give them new recommended books

Vending Machine

This vending machine would be used to help advertise the release of the new Noble Books app. This vending machine would allow people to answer questions on the first screen to get a book recommendation. Guests would also get their first book free with the use of the Noble Books app.

Instagram Post

These Instagram posts would be used to showcase the vending machine and to highlight how to find one

Pop Up Ad

This announcement would pop up when website guests visited the Barnes and Noble website to notify them about the new Noble Books app and vending machine pop ups

Magazine Ad

This ad would run in hobby and entertainment magazines
